Na Tum Jaano Na Hum is a Bollywood flick which was released on May 10 in the year 2002. The main attraction of the movie was its star cast which included Hrithik Roshan, Esha Deol and Saif Ali Khan. The plot of Na Tum Jaano Na Hum :
The main protagonist of the film is Esha Malhotra (Esha Deol). She is a young spirited girl who has just left college. She is very attached to her family. She gets acquainted with an anonymous person through a FM Channel and started corresponding with that man. That person is Rahul (Hrithik Roshan). They found that both share a lot of things in common and love develops between the two. However, they do not meet each other. Both of them also did not reveal their names and contact numbers. Fate brings them together and Esha hires Rahul, who is a photographer by profession, for a campaign.
Rahul and Esha becomes good friend. In the mean time, Esha's grandfather wants her to settle down and arranges her marriage with Saif Ali Khan (Akshay Kapoor), who is a womanizer and is of flirtatious character. Akshay after meeting Esha really likes her and wants marry her. She on the other hand is deeply in love with her pen friend and wants to spend her entire life with that person. She contacts his pen pal and both of them decides to meet each other. But to his utter dismay he finds out that Esha is the one who was writing him letters. He decides to sacrifice his love for his best friend, Akshay. He returns without meeting her and also leaves for Vancouver.
After four years he meets Akshay and his son. He thinks he will soon meet Esha. Instead, Akshay introduces his ex-girl friend as his wife. When Rahul inquires about Esha, he was told that she is still waiting for his mysterious lover. Suddenly a group of workers in the mall carry a huge photograph of Esha and Akshay realizes that Rahul is the mysterious lover of Esha. He urges Rahul to return to Esha. He return sand the lovers were united.
The music of Na Tum Jaano Na Hum was given by Rajesh Roshan. The songs are soothing to the ears. Variety of tracks are available in the music album of the film. The movie has a total of 8 songs. The song “Aha Aha” sung by Falguni Pathak was filmed on Esha Deol. The song expresses the bubbly nature of the girl. “Ye Betiyan To Babul Ki” by Jaspindrer Narula is very different from the other songs. The composition of the song is unusual. “hai Ram Ye Kya Kaar Dala” , “Dil Leke Jaan Leke” are the romantic numbers of the movie. “Leke Pyar Ki Chunariya” is a typical marriage song and can be considered as a dance number. “Tum” and “Jaa Sanam Mujhko Hai” expresses the sorrow of a lover.
Even though Na Tum Jaano Na Hum could not make a mark in the hearts of the audience, yet the performances of the actors and actresses were pleasant. The movie got a lukewarm response.
